| 内容記述 | 本研究は、日本における母親の持つ教育価値観(理想的教師観、理想的学生観、理想的教育観)、子どもへの期待と養育態\ 度との関連を検討したものである。首都圏に居住する母親96 名を対象に質問紙調査を実施し、統計的分析を行った。その\ 結果、母親の子どもへの期待として『グローバル志向』『流暢な英語能力』『優秀な成績』『礼儀正しさ』『異文化との交流』\ 『豊富な遊び経験』の6 因子が、養育態度として『一貫性のないしつけ』『受容』『統制』『自由への容認』『同調』の5 因\ 子が抽出された。教育価値観と子どもへの期待と養育態度との関連を検討するために重回帰分析を行った結果、『一貫性の\ ないしつけ』には理想的教師観の『学生尊重(負)』が、『受容』には理想的学生観の『従順』と理想的教育観の『創造性』\ 『人材教育(負)』および子どもへの『豊富な遊び経験』の期待が影響していた。『統制』には理想的教師観の『専門性』が、\ 『自由への容認』には理想的教育観の『創造性』が影響していた。『同調』には子どもへの『流暢な英語能力』『優秀な成\ 績』『グローバル志向(負)』の期待と理想的教師観の『学生尊重』『専門性(負)』が影響を与えていることが示された。 |

| 内容記述 | The first purpose of this study is to determine Japanese mothers’ expectations for their children, and child\ rearing attitudes. The second purpose is to investigate the influence of educational values, expectations for the\ children of Japanese mothers on their rearing attitude. A questionnaire survey was conducted of 96 mothers of\ children in elementary school who live in Tokyo and its surrounding areas (Chiba and Saitama prefecture).\ Resulting from the factor analyses on mothers’ expectations for their children, six factors were extracted:\ “global tendency”, “fluent proficiency in English”, “excellent record”, “politeness”, “intercultural\ communication” and “rich experience of playing”. In addition, as rearing attitudes, five factors were extracted:\ “inconsistent rearing”, “receptive rearing”, “tolerance for freedom”, “control”, and “conformity”.\ Resulting from multiple regression analysis on the influence of Japanese mother’s educational values and\ expectations for their children on their rearing attitude, this study found that Japanese mother’s educational\ values, expectations for the children are the factors that affect their child rearing attitude.\ Particularly, it is suggested that rearing attitude affected by education values and expectations for their\ children formed by the credentialism, the competition in the exam and increased awareness of the importance\ of English proficiency should be reconsidered. |
