| 内容記述 | 本調査は、台湾の日本語非専攻学習者を対象とし、Horwitz（1987）の質問紙手法を参考に、広範囲に渡るデータを通\ して学習者のビリーフを探ったものである。分析の結果、日本語非専攻学習者のビリーフには（1）外国語学習には努力\ しても変えられない限界があると考える；（2）外国語学習は他の理論性科目と異なり、外国語学習ならではの方法があ\ る；（3）外国語学習の通説に囚われることなく、楽観的だ；（4）日本語を学習する場合、反復練習と音声によるインプッ\ トが重要だと信じている；（5）コミュニケーション志向が高い；（6）定期的なテストや教科書が必要だと考え、伝統的な\ 学習方法を好む；（7）学習歴1 年以上の学習者のほうが正確さに関心を持つ、七つの傾向があることを明らかにした。ま\ た、学習歴によるビリーフの違いも観察され、ビリーフの可変性を窺うことができる。広範囲に渡るデータから得られた\ 本調査の結果は客観性があり、台湾の日本語非専攻学習者への教授方法や内容の調整、ないし研究の一つの礎になるので\ はと考えられる。 |

| 内容記述 | This research intends to understand the learning beliefs of non-Japanese major Japanese learners who study\ in Taiwan’s universities. Based on the structure of the BALLI questionnaire designed by Horwitz in 1987 with\ Taiwanese students, the questionnaire of this research concludes seven features of non-Japanese major\ learners' beliefs. First, they think some limitations on learning language cannot be changed, even though they\ study hard. Second, they know learning a foreign language is different from other curriculums, and they know\ they need some unique way to better learn the language. Third, they are optimistic to learning a foreign\ language regardless of preoccupation in other courses. Fourth, they believe that it is efficient to learn Japanese\ by audio and repetitive practice. Fifth, they tend to converse as part of their learning objective. Sixth, they like\ traditional learning methods and think textbooks and periodic tests are necessary. And finally, those who have\ studied Japanese for over one year place more importance on accuracy. This investigation also finds that\ during different learning periods, the learning belief of learners is susceptible to change. The outcome is based\ on the objective investigation using a large variety of data, and could provide guidelines for teachers to\ improve their language courses. |
