| 内容記述 | 韓国では2001年度大学入学試験において、新たに第2外国語領域が選択科目として加わった。その特徴としては、何よりも言語知識より言語使用能力に対する評価が重視され、意思疎通能力を評価する問題が60%を占めたことである。また文化理解能力を評価する問題も3題出題され、全体の10%を占めた。韓国の大学入試で日本語などの第2外国語科目が導入されたことにより、中等教育での第2外国語の重要度が増すことは言うまでもない。また教育内容においても、今後、意思疎通能力や文化理解能力養成に力点が置かれることになるであろう。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | In 2001, the Korean government introduced "second foreign languages" as new section in their national college entrance examinations. Their primary focus is on communicative skills rather than linguistic knowledge, with 60% of the questions focusing on this area. The "second foreign language" section also includes three questions that assesses cultural knowledge, which accounted for 10% of the entire section. It is anticipated that the inclusion of "second foreign languages" in college entrance examination will make foreign languages more important in Korean high schools. Also, communicative skills and cultural understanding will be given a higher priority in high school classrooms through this inclusion. | |||||
