| 内容記述 | It was not until the 1930s that the educational system started to be actively discussed in prewar Japan. The Kyoiku Kagaku Kenkyukai, a nongovernment education research community, took a stand by aggressively criticizing the Ministry of Education’s proposed education reform. The ministry’s plan to initiate compulsory youth schools or Seinen Gakko (post-Advanced Elementary Education) was criticized as being only theoretically feasible, and ineffective when applied practically. The result of “kenkyuchosa” of Shunichi Suzuki became a basis of criticism. This study clarifies the current situation\ regarding child labor. It is pointed out that current education reforms cannot solve the problems of long work hours and of child labor promotion through the incentive of night secondary schools merely by extending the academic year. This paper analyzes investigation of Suzuki in which the theoretical base of the education reform plan of The Kyoiku Kagaku Kenkyukai was formed. |
