| 内容記述 | This research aims to analyze ethical issues related to major life science projects and discuss management process and organization for address the issues. Some critical suggestion has come out of case studies on a few major life science projects such as a human genome project, a brain science project, and a human stem cell research project. Experts who have been assigned to deal with ethical issues in a life science project tend to be observation-minded. Among processes to address ethical issues, defying and taking into account of ethical issues should be implemented by strong partnership between life science researches and bioethics-conscious experts. The case study shows isolated organization of bioethics experts in the life science projects and lack of mutual understanding between them. In order to solve these problems, it is one of challenges to develop human resources who both understand both of life science research and ethics. | |||||
