| 内容記述 | This paper, focusing on the repetition native speakers use in the first-time conversations in contact situations and native situations, examined whether or not there is any difference in the repetitions of own utterances (self-repetitions) the native speakers use according to the “daily contact experience with non-native speakers” and the “Japanese proficiency level of the person to talk to”. The result of the analysis revealed the followings; (1)The lower the Japanese proficiency level of the person to talk to is, the more frequently the native speakers who have more contact experiences use the self- repetitions. (2)The native speakers who have more contact experiences repeat their own utterances more spontaneously to the person whose Japanese proficiency level is low even if he or she does not seem to want it. (3)Regardless of the amount of contact experience, native speakers frequently use the repetitions of “particularization” and “clarification” to intermediate learners. |
