| 内容記述 | 本稿では中国における日本語専攻学習者を対象に質問紙調査を行い、彼らの持つ日本人イメージを明らかにし、さらに日本人イメージと学習動機との関連を探った。その結果、日本人イメージについて、「開放性」「親和性」「勤勉性」「寛容性」「先進性」「人間関係親密性」の6因子が得られた。学年によるイメージの差異については、「勤勉性」イメージは差異が認められず、「開放性」と「先進性」イメージは学年が高くなるにつれて低くなることが明らかになった。日本語学習動機については「日本文化理解」「日本語の向上」「日本語への興味」「日本への憧れ」「日本への留学・就労」「就職の有用性」「日本に関係ある人の存在」の7因子が得られ、イメージと学習動機との関連については、「日本への憧れ」と「日本に関係ある人の存在」動機が日本人イメージに正の影響を与えることが示された。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This study aims to explore the image of Japanese people held by learners of the Japanese language in Mainland China and its relevance to their motivation of learning Japanese by carrying out studies in the form of questionnaires to those people. The result of the factor analysis shows that the image of the Japanese consists of six factors: "openness", "congeniality", "diligence", "tolerance", "advancement", and "intimacy of interpersonal relationships". The Japanese learning motivation is characterized by seven factors, namely "understanding the Japanese cultures", "improving their Japanese language", "interest in the Japanese language", "admiration of Japan", "study and work in Japan", "practical purpose", and "having links with Japan- related people". Among the seven factors, "admiration of Japan" and "having links with Japan- related people" are the two leading factors that help improve the image of Japanese people among Chinese learners of the Japanese language. | |||||
